Application
ZHIMING brand of the ZM-SVG Static Var Generator is an advanced reactive power compensation device that utilizes modern power electronics and high-speed DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology. It is designed to provide precise and dynamic reactive power support for improved power quality and system stability.
The device consists of two main components: the reference current detection circuit and the compensation current generation circuit.
- The reference current detection circuit continuously monitors the line current in real time. It converts the analog current signals into digital form and transmits them to the DSP.
- The DSP processes the signals, separating harmonic components from the fundamental current. Based on system requirements, it generates PWM control signals.
- These signals are sent to the compensation current generation circuit, which drives IGBT or IPM power modules to produce a reactive compensation current matching the system’s needs.
The ZM-SVG injects this reactive current into the power system, dynamically adjusting to maintain voltage stability, reduce power losses, and improve power factor.
This solution is ideal for industries with rapidly changing load conditions or strict power quality requirements.

Max permit over voltage: 1.1 times rated voltage, the high permit over voltage is not more than 8 hours within 24 hours, 1.15 times rated voltage, it is not more than 30 minutes within 24 hours, 1.2 times rated voltage, it is not more than 5 minutes, 1.3 times rated voltage, it would not be more than 1 minute.
Max permit over current: it is permitted that the overcurrent is not more than 1.3 times the rated current. Interim overcurrent, it should consider overvoltage, capacity positive tolerance, and harmonic effect. Interim over current is not more than 1.43 times rated current.
Discharge property: the left voltage will reduce from √2 Un to below 50V within 3 minutes when the power is cut off.
