What Is light control transformer？
A light control transformer is a specialized electrical device designed to provide stable, low-voltage power supply to lighting control systems, such as LED dimming panels, smart streetlight controllers, stage lighting, and building automation systems. It steps down or isolates input voltage (e.g., 220V/380V AC) to a safe, regulated low voltage (e.g., 12V, 24V, or 48V AC/DC), while ensuring electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) for flicker-free dimming and precise signal transmission. Unlike ordinary transformers, a light control transformer must maintain high linearity and low no-load loss under frequent switching and variable load conditions.
